Lately I've felt a terrible burning sensation after eating. now,now..could this due to heartburn?and so in search i am,thru the worldwideweb.
Many women start getting heartburn and indigestion in the second half of pregnancy. — and though it's common and harmless, it can be quite uncomfortable.(yes indeed!)
Heartburn (also called acid indigestion or acid reflux) is a burning sensation that often extends from the bottom of the breastbone to the lower throat. (mine would b at my throat!!gosh..the discomfort i got, could last almost haf an hour.)
So doc, what can i do about it?
Don't eat big meals. Instead, eat several small meals throughout the day. Take your time eating and chew thoroughly. (small meals and chew lama2 skit.okie dokie doc.)
And..somethings that can make heartburn worse
-Smoking (obviously nonsmoker)
-Coffee (both regular and decaffeinated) and other drinks that contain caffeine (somehow durin this preggie im fond of takin it!)
-Alcohol -Citrus fruits -Tomato products (really?!i loike tomatoes these day)
-Chocolate -Mints or peppermints -Fatty foods -Onions -Spicy foods (pizza, chili, curry)
oOoo..ok,so i suppose its 'normal' uh during this pregnancy.
Allrite doc, thanks for d advice.Im off to eat my lunch now…chompchompchomp(remember!slow and steady).
