the double M

Have I told you Mia has started schooling? Ah yes, she’s officially a preschooler girl! But let me tell ya, sending her off on her first day..wasn’t that easy. Dont laugh, its not her..its ME!bley? No really, I cant believe it that shes going to school now? then what? the next thing I know she’ll be 18,and off to college. Yeah yeah Yeah, drama mommy heh.

She did quite well on her first day- cried few minutes when we left her after her recess time. Then we came back to pick her up, she was all smiling and happy to see us. However, second day she was down w fever, called up the principal and took care of her the whole day. By third day, shes all OK and ready to go back to school, feeling all excited! Upon arrival, two teachers were ready by the entrance door to bring up the kids to their classes. So I just waved her goodbye and planted tons of kisses on her cheeks (haha she better not be embarrassed even when shes 18!).

And now,its been almost three weeks. Of course, like us working adult, Monday can be quite a challenge to wake her up. But by Tues,Wed- shes happy to be back. I’m just happy that she’s happy in her school. Occasionally she does bring home homework- to do some coloring and counting, which is great.Although, there’s one time she went overboard coloring almost the whole workbook!Adoi

Young Mike is such a lovable baby. He adore his sister so much so that whenever Mia was busy yapping he’ll be smiling away AS IF he comprehend what she said. Mike has been quite active in rolling over. Plunk him on a mattress/ bed he’ll turn over in no time.

On another note, I’ve been avoiding (read-restraining!) from eating prawns, crabs, squid for quite a while now. This is because I soon learn my baby will have a bad rash on his cheek if I do eat em. Yah, since he still on my booby juice so for obvious reason anything I eat, he practically gets it lah. Poor mommy uh’ bah!heh..I mean poor Mike. Nevermind boy, I’ll sacrifice anything for you dear, eventho Mommy has to suffer abit lah looking at your Daddy and Aunty Hetz itu hari wallap those crabs  like nobody’s business LOL.

One interesting to note too, I’ve finally brave enough to drive on my own w my two kids in tow. We went to pick Daddy up from his late day at work. Well see how it goes when I’m up for a challenge to bring out the kids on my own to somewhere further … err like Ikea on a crazy weekends? hahaha I hope am kidding!

Ok Toodles!

Sure enough, the more we say “don’t do that!“‘ the moreee she finds it amusing to do it. Ah well thanks honey, Mommy gave up taking nice shots  of you+me, and ends up laughing together with you looking at these pictures.

Here’s my 57days old baby Mike. Looking more chubbier doncha’ think? I’ve taken plenty of pictures of those chunky thighs via mobile for keepsake heh. Man, gotta love those thighs and cheeks!

I’m enjoying my last October as a stay at home mommy. Nevermind I hardly have my me time these days, but things have been good. Now that is something to appreciate right?. Of course, I do have some shitty days but good times definitely outweighs it. However, it would have been great last Sunday if Beyonce were here and us ’single ladies’ can have our bootylicious night out. What a bummer (her or whoever) to call off the concert!

Anyhow, Mia is finally acting up as the big sister. The first thing she wakes up, she’ll ask me “Mana Mikail?”, and then only “where’s daddy?”. Aww, she asked her baby brother first before her daddy! She’s more cooperative and less whining, which is great. Oh! Couple days ago, she asked me “Mummy, apa niii?” pointing to Mike’s birdie as I was changing his diaper. I knew it that day will come, just never knew this soon! Told her “that’s Mike’s birdie, just like your shame-shame Mia,just that it look slightly different”. I  would like to believe she gets it, but just soon after she just chuckles and continue playing w her toys.

As for young Mike here, he now weights 5.6kilos. I can’t help it but to compare him with Mia at this stage. Mia was one colicky baby,he’s not.  Mike is such a content baby.Mia rarely spits up, Mike does (nevermind even if I burped him). Mia loves to be in sling, but not lil’ Mike here.He makes so much noise in it that I decided he’s better off left in his Cabrio. Now am in search of other types of babywear. Moby wrap looks interesting.Oh but liza’s new invention looks  brilliant too!

Soon, I’ll be back to work and will miss being at home w my two kids!

Last night story

Mia drummer wannabe

My little drummer wannabe.too funny too cute! FYI that’s her paksu’s drum, who has his own band, and gigs and shows. Too bad (my bad!) as a sister I have yet to catch any of his gigs. Well no worries, you’ll have my supports bro, cept’ please finish up with your studies first ok!

As for my little munchkin here, well she’s been mommy’s best girlfriends ever! Until last night we had a small fight. Yeah, silly me, getting into a fight with the little kiddo. The thing is, I was v.tired, and badly in need of sleep. The usuals drills would be, she will have to tag along with her mummy to bed. She was reluctant and frustrated as she still feels ‘fresh’ ( at 11pm mind you).

Long story short, she finally did laydown next to me (uhuh, still co-sleep with us!). Few minutes into my la la land, I was surprise by a small hand smacking my face! Not once but twice! And she goes like “Mummy!”smack smack grrrr. I tried ignoring her by facing the opposite her. Mia being bored I suppose, tried to annoyed me MORE by pulling the comforter away pulak from me. After her nth attempt, I finally gave up (not her!) and asked Mia to just go out and play, and that mommy is v.v cranky and do not want to turn into a monster for the night.

With what a little voice raising, she merajuk and cried! Ayoo… Luckily, hubby was still wide awake to take her away, and bribe her with some promises. I could not be bothered no more, too tired, too cranky.

However, this morning as I recall the event back with the husband, I couldn’t help it but to laugh at Mia’s actions. Man, she sure knows how to trigger her mommy’s patience and attentions thesedays.

But that’s the beauty of having kids, they are messy, noisy, attention seekers, but above all you’ll still love them to bits. I know I love mine. :)

On a different note, Continue reading
